Deviled Eggs

There is nothing like experience in the real world to teach you one or two things. For all parents who have written to me in the past saying: Isabel, with all the responsibilities that I have a day with my kids, work and home, just don’t have time to eat healthy. WHAT I UNDERSTAND! Heaven who would have said that a small 3.6 kilos would require so much time and I mean all day. Given that healthy eating is absolutely mandatory for my (simply could not do it otherwise), really I had to occur some quick and easy snacks that could be taken at any time, especially if my little baby did not allow me to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner. Even if you don’t have children and only are very busy, busy, busy all day here I present some healthy snacks that I like (most can eat them with one hand, while holding to the newborn with the other). 1 Butter walnut and honey on sprouted grain bread: Although knows better toasted, you can also do it cold. Coat 1-2 tablespoons of butter natural peanut or almond on a slice of bread sprouted grain or bread from spelt with natural honey spoon. I prepare 2 or 3 loaves at the same time and put them in the refrigerator, where it is easy to take them.

2 Deviled Eggs: they require a little more preparation time so I have to wait until my husband gets home at night to prepare them. Put to boil 6 eggs. When they are cool, I cut them in half and put all the egg yolks in a bowl. I add dijon mustard and olive oil at the fingertips, and machaco them until they have a creamy consistency. I then add this mixture in the center of the egg whites and then put them salt freshly ground black pepper and the Celtic Sea. I keep them in the refrigerator as an easy snack of protein. 3 Roll Turkey and roast beef: this is only breast of Turkey and roast beef rolled (only buy Turkey and roast beef natural and fresh, no cold meats of trademarks that have nitrites and nitrates). I add a little mustard to each roll and put them to the refrigerator inside a container.

This is another snack quick protein. They combine very well with baby carrots. 4. Frozen grapes: If you’re looking for something sweet, frozen grapes are a wonderful way to calm your taste for sweet things. I always have in the freezer and as with nuts when it comes to my snack. A handful of grapes with some walnuts of truth help me to feel full and satisfied until my next meal time arrives. It is also a great sweet snack (for all those parents who have not been able to sleep and also for those who still are not). 5 Bag with mixed nuts and dried fruits: absolutely will not go anywhere without my bag of mixed nuts. At this moment I have a bag of almonds, walnuts, cashews, dried apricots and raisins, with a touch of Celtic Sea salt. Yesterday I took my baby to the pediatrician and we had to wait what seemed hours!
